Frequently Asked Questions
What area do you cover?
We typically concentrate our efforts in Fairfield County (approx 30 mile radius around Bridgeport), but we can be enticed further away if the project fires our imagination and all the stars and planets align properly.
Are you licensed?
We are licensed in the state of CT #582384
Are you insured?
We are fully insured with general liability and workman's comp.
What type of materials do we use?
We get our materials from suppliers local to the project such as O & G in Bridgeport or Connecticut Stone in Milford. We work with all types of stone, Unilock paving and wall stone, as well as brick. The type of material depends on whether you want a formal or rustic style or somewhere in between.
What will the cost be?
Every job we do is unique, so each is priced based on labor, type of materials and the scope of the project.
We provide a quote outlining what we've discussed during our meeting and await your approval.
The cost of the quote is nada, nothing, zip.
How long will the job take?
It will take as long as it takes and not a day longer. It's not in our best interest to have your job drag out. Part of my job is to keep the schedule so you know when we will start and approximately how long your job will take to complete. When my guys start a job, they consistently return until the job is complete. There are exceptions such as weather, or the need to allow cement to set at one level before moving onto the next step.
Do you guarantee your work?
Of course we do. We provide a one year unconditional guarantee on
our workmanship. Individual product guarantees are covered by the manufacturor and may span from 5 years to 20 years.
What if I'm not happy at the end of the project?
Hmmm - got us there. We don't know - it's never happened to us. We check in with you regularly as the project
moves thru its various phases so that doesn't happen.
Do you provide references?
Yes, upon request or with each quote - whichever comes first.
I have an erosion problem - can you help?
Absolutely. Each erosion problem is unique and we can advise you on the most efficient and cost effective way to stop erosion. In fact, its quite possible that after we are done, your "problem area" will be a property highlight.
I have a water problem, can you help with that too?
Yes. Again, we'll investigate the problem and advise you on the best solution.
Do you have a question that we didn't cover?
